Dorothy was a respected professor of fine art at Bridgewater State University for Fifty years. She no longer produces work because of the aging process, however, her skill and artistry lives on.

Dorothy's husband, Richard Pulsifer, was also a master artist. He created exquisite canvases that captured his deeply held Christian faith. Richard created enormous pieces, at times nearly seven feet wide. He dedicated his attention to one canvas at a time, each one taking him one to three years to complete. Richard stopped producing work about twenty-five years ago. Now, like Dorothy, he is unable to return to it as he declines from the effects of Alzheimer's
